Release butterflies at Lost River Cave

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – Local families and youth can use the warmth of their hands to awaken butterflies, and set them free in the Charlie Miller Butterfly Habitat.

On May 22nd, tickets are required and will be $10 for admission at Lost River Cave. There are two sessions for the butterfly release, 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Native butterflies include Giant Swallowtails, Red admirals, Monarchs, Painted Ladies, Common Buckeyes, and Gulf Fritillaries.

Founded in 1997, Bowling Green Junior Chamber International Senators built the butterfly habitat and dedicated it to their late colleague, Charlie Miller.
