WKU Football Holds Pro Day
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Over on the Hill, WKU Football held its annual pro day, where players showcased their talents to a wide assortment of NFL scouts.
Tops wide receiver Malachi Corley, quarterback Austin Reed, and others participated in a variety of drills ahead of the NFL draft, which will take place starting on April 26th in Detroit.
Following the pro day, both Corley and Reed shared their thoughts on the experience.
“Being able to end it off at Western Kentucky, where it all started, was something that was extremely important to me,” Corley said, “and I think that bringing 30 teams here to Western Kentucky Bowling Green, um, that was something that really hasn’t happened here before, and I was really excited to see that.”
“It was cool to be able to be out there with Craig and Malachi, and then it was awesome to be able to get River and Dalvin, even though technically it’s not their pro day, and Marquise as well, so it was really cool to get to throw to those guys,” said Reed. “You know, obviously build a relationship with them for so long, and it’s cool to be able to do it again with those guys one more time out on, out on Feix.”
