Single-vehicle injury wreck backs up traffic on I-65

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police has confirmed a single-vehicle collision took place Friday afternoon on Interstate 65 northbound.

KSP trooper Katan Parker says the wreck took place at the 49 mile marker, and one person was injured.

That person’s current condition has not been released.

The Kentucky Transportation Department District 3 says traffic began to back up around 4 p.m.

Parker says the crash caused all lanes to close briefly.
