Four Things you Need to Know This Wednesday
For Wednesday, March 6th, 2024
Before you head out the door, here are four things you need to know!
Meteorologist Darius Mack says he’s tracking a rainy morning but a drier afternoon, so you’ll want to keep a lookout for when that rain passes.
And in just a few hours at 9:07 A.M. a statewide tornado drill will kick off. This means you’ll hear those outdoor sirens sound off and alerts in your phone may go off. But don’t worry, this is just a test. The National Weather Service says it’s a good way to practice your safety plan so that you know what to do in case disaster strikes.
Happening this afternoon is a blood drive at the T.J. health pavilion. Today from 12:00-5:00 P.M., you can stop by and help your local chapter of the American Red Cross. Walk-ins are welcome so if you can donate, they would love to have you.
You’ll want to grab your tickets for the Importance of Being Earnest, a production put on by the Fountain Square Players. Be sure to get those tickets today before they’re all gone.
