Further details released after weekend motorcycle collision

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Further details have been released regarding a motorcycle wreck on Saturday in Bowling Green.
According to an accident report, Bowling Green police responded around 2:45 p.m. to the intersection of Scottsville Road and Ashley Circle.
Police say the operator of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer stated he was in the left turn lane at the intersection to turn onto Ashley Circle when he turned left during a flashing yellow arrow.
At this time, the report states the operator of a 2004 Honda motorcycle, Dameon Price, 21, of Bowling Green, collided with the trailer.
The driver of the Chevrolet stated he had “plenty of time to make the left turn,” according to police.
Price was flown from EMS headquarters to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Police say he sustained life-threatening injuries.
His current condition has not been released at this time.
Police say witnesses said Price went airborne after colliding with the trailer and that he was traveling fast at the time of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
