From skeletons to zombies, the haunting season is here

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – We’re heading into mid-October and along with pumpkin spice and apple-cinnamon everything, it’s time to talk ghosts. But in Scottsville this weekend, it wasn’t just the goblins getting attention. The spotlight was on someone who has tangled with zombies.

Cooper Andrews, the actor who plays Jerry on The Walking Dead, was at Skeleton’s Lair over the weekend. Along with autograph signings and taking selfies with fans, he hosted question and answer sessions and a watch party for Sunday night’s episode of The Walking Dead. He also told us that although his character Jerry is similar to his own personality, he doesn’t “bring Jerry home” with him.

And, he had something that looked like a sling around his shoulder…it was a pouch to hold his puppy, Belushi. Andrews told us he just adopted a chihuahua-dachshund mix just a few days earlier and he was worried the puppy might get too cold during the watch party.
