U.S. Bank Customer Call Center to close in Bowling Green

A home mortgage customer service call center affiliated with U.S. Bank is closing in Bowling Green.

According to a spokesman with U.S. Bank, the decision to close the call center on Louisville Road was made after a strategic review of the bank’s real estate footprint. 

The lease on the building expires this fall.

WNKY has learned that dozens of employees currently work there. Some of those employees will be transferred to other U.S. Bank locations, while some will remain in their current roles and commute to Owensboro. For employees leaving the company altogether, U.S. Bank is offering them a severance, in addition to a job placement program. 

The U.S. Bank branches in the Bowling Green community will not be affected.
