SCAM ALERT: Scottsville Police Department warns of counterfeit currency

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Scottsville Police Department is warning the public of a resurfaced problem with what they call “motion picture” money.

According to police, the fake bills are beginning to circulate again and, despite feeling real, they will feel like paper.

Counterfeit bills of this type will say “motion picture use only.” The back will say ”Motion picture use only. In copy we trust.” These are not legal to use as payment.
