Corvette Museum donates over $27,000 to Kentucky State Police initiative
The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green is donating thousands of dollars to a Kentucky State Police initiative.
The museum donated a check for $27,123 to KSP’s Trooper Island.
Trooper Island is a camp that offers underprivileged kids a week of fun and is designed to help them develop their self-image, build healthy eating and exercise habits and provide spiritual growth.
The money was generated from an annual event called, One Lap of Kentucky, which takes place each October and is hosted by the museum and Kentucky State Police.
Since the inaugural event in 2010, over $92,000 has been donated to Trooper Island.
