Kentucky State Fair kicks off in Louisville

The Kentucky State Fair began today in Louisville.

The opening ceremony was held indoors for the 114th State Fair.

Governor Matt Bevin, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, and Miss Kentucky 2018 were all there just to name a few.

The fair, at the Kentucky Expo Center, features live stock exhibits, a plethora of competitions, some interesting food options, and your traditional rides and games.

If you plan on making the trip, tickets and parking at the fair are each ten dollars at the gate, and eight dollars online.

Children under five get in for free.

The fair runs through August 26th.
