Police say Bowling Green teenager possessed 6.7 lbs of marijuana

An 18-year-old from Bowling Green is behind bars, accused of possessing several pounds of high-grade marijuana.

Jacob Denson has been charged with Trafficking Marijuana-over 5 lbs, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Suspended or Revoked License. 

According to the Warren County Drug Task Force, Denson was seen taking possession of two parcels of marijuana, weighing 6.7 lbs.

Authorities say he then placed the parcels in the trunk of his car and was stopped a short distance later in the 3200 block of Alvaton-Greenhill Road near Bowling Green. 

Kentucky State Police officers, who made the traffic stop, say Denson also had $885 in cash on him. 

Denson was lodged in the Warren County Detention Center.
