3 arrested after stolen vehicle found in Cave City

CAVE CITY, Ky. – Three men are behind bars after a vehicle stolen out of Louisville was found in Cave City, authorities say.
According to a uniform citation, the Kentucky State Police received a call Monday, Aug. 18 from a Five Star gas station at 1004 Doyle Ave. in Cave City.
Authorities say the caller stated three males in ski masks had pulled into the gas station, with one male paying $10 in cash for gas before all three walked away from the scene.
Troopers say the vehicle was left on scene and still running at the pump.
Authorities say they saw three males cross Highway 90.
Troopers say they pulled in near the males and turned the emergency lights on, resulting in all three males fleeing.
According to authorities, all three males eventually hid in weeds and bushes.
Authorities say they located two of the men, and the third was located using a drone.
All three were taken into custody.
According to troopers, a handgun was located beside a Tekno business sign where the three men had fled.
Authorities say all three men denied knowing about the vehicle or the gun.

Louisville Metro Police Department then completed a stolen vehicle report, authorities say.
