2 arrested on drug, weapons charges following joint investigation in Christian County

OAK GROVE, Ky. – A joint investigation by the United States Army Criminal Investigation Division and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit resulted in the arrest of two Christian County men on drug and weapons charges.

According to a media release, the agencies arrested 38-year-old Eric Flynn and 32-year-old Riyad Baker Jr., both of Oak Grove, following an investigation.

Investigators say a warrant was obtained for Flynn, who authorities say is an active-duty soldier at Fort Campbell.

Flynn was arrested after a traffic stop. Authorities say Flynn admitted to possessing cocaine.

Flynn is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The agencies say Baker was arrested at a home on Pacific Avenue, after he allegedly sold cocaine and firearms to undercover officers.

Authorities say the investigation began in April ad is ongoing.
