1 in critical condition after shooting in Smiths Grove

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – An Edmonson County man is in critical condition after a shooting incident in Warren County.

According to KSP Public Affairs Officer Trooper Katan Parker, troopers responded to the 1300 block of Rocky Hill Road to a reported shooting at approximately 6 pm Saturday.

Troopers located 58-year-old James Kevin Marr, of Rocky Hill, with apparent gunshot wounds to the abdomen and legs.

Parker says Marr was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where he is in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
