1 dead, 1 hospitalized after collision in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. – One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash in McCracken County on Friday.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to 9860 Blandville Road regarding a two-vehicle collision.
Authorities say they learned 47-year-old Christopher Martin of Kevil was driving eastbound on Blandville Road while 35-year-old Kameron Bristoe of Paducah was driving westbound.
Deputies say the two vehicles collided head on in the eastbound lane.
Martin was transported to a local hospital and later to an out of state hospital for treatment for incapacitating injuries.
Bristoe was pronounced dead on scene by the McCracken County coroner.
Deputies were additionally assisted by Mercy Regional Ambulance, Concord Fire Department, West McCracken Fire Department, Lone Oak Fire Department, McCracken County DES and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Harper’s Towing.
