Wreck shuts down Nashville Road

BOWLING GREEN, KY. – A Thursday morning wreck involving a semi and a pick-up truck on Nashville Road near the Bennett Lane intersection had traffic blocked in both directions for about an hour.

One person was injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The collision resulted in a fuel spill of more than 50 gallons, according to information on the scanner.

As of 8:17 a.m. tow trucks had arrived on scene to tow both vehicles.
