Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department to raise funds with Ice Cream Supper
WOODBURN, Ky.- When the Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1962, there was an immediate need to raise money for equipment.
The fundraiser they came up with was the community favorite Ice Cream Supper. The ice cream supper is back again this year, and there is plenty of fun to be had.
From cake walks and raffles to food trucks and even live music, there is something for everyone. Fire chief Bob Skipper says its a great way to get out and interact with the community.
The Ice Cream Supper will be Saturday, August 12 starting at 6 p.m. at the Woodburn Ballpark, so make sure to mark your calendars.
