Woman charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse

TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police says a woman has been charged in relation to child sexual abuse and child sexual abuse material.
KSP says its Electronic Crime Branch began an undercover online investigation after the suspect shared images of child sexual exploitation online.
Abbigail Vibbert, 26, was arrested as a result of the investigation, KSP says.
In addition, the investigation resulted in an interview Thursday, as well as the seizure of electronics used in the crime, which authorities say will be examined.
Vibbert faces one count of promoting a minor under 16 years old in a sex performance, four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 12 and one count of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old.
Vibbert remains in the Barren County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
