WKU Soccer Adds Camryn Davis to 2024 Roster
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Soccer has added Camryn Davis to the 2024 roster. Davis is a midfielder transfer from Jacksonville State who will be a junior in the 2024-25 academic year.
“We are excited about the addition of Camryn Davis to our program starting this spring semester,” said head coach Jason Neidell. “She was a key player we scouted when we played Jax State in the fall. We love the intensity and grit that she brings to the game. She is very fit and loves to compete, and we are eager to see how we can integrate her into our system.
Davis played in 34 total games at Jacksonville State, including all 17 in the 2023 season. Last season, Davis scored six goals and notched three assists. She was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week after scoring four goals against South Carolina State on Aug. 20.
The Gadsden, Alabama native attended Southside High School, leading the soccer team to the AHSAA tournament semifinals three times and a championship game appearance. Davis was named a AHSAA North All Star and was a three-time All-State selection. She was also named All-Region four times in high school. Davis scored 49 total goals, notched 49 assists and started in 95 games in her high school career.
Davis was a multisport athlete in high school, competing in track and field and cross country as well as soccer. She was a three-time All-State selection in track and cross country.
At the club level, Davis played with the Hoover-Vestavia Soccer team. She was also on the Alabama ODP region team.
