WKU Restaurant Group decides against Lost River Pizza citing ‘background that is inconsistent with our values’

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In an announcement on Twitter late Thursday afternoon, Western Kentucky University Restaurant Group announced that Lost River Pizza would not be part of the new WKU Commons as announced earlier this week.

“We have learned that the local brand, Lost River Pizza Company, has some background that is inconsistent with our values,” the Tweet reads. “As a result the WKU Restaurant Group has decided that the brand would not be a good fit within our restaurant portfolio.

“We are working to add another brand to the program and look forward to making that announcement soon.”

There was no further information shared about the decision.
