WKU Red & White Spring Showcase set for Saturday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football will host the 2024 Red & White Spring Showcase, presented by DQS Solutions and Staffing, on Saturday at 2 p.m. CT at Houchens-Smith Stadium.

While the Red & White Spring Showcase will not be a traditional game, the event will provide Hilltopper fans a chance to see live action from the 2024 WKU Football team for the first time and will serve as an opportunity for the team to cap off spring practices.

The event is free for fans to attend. Gates will open at 1 p.m. CT. Fans should enter through Gate 1 on the West (new) Side or Gate 6 on the East (old) Side. There will be free parking on campus in PS1 and PS2. Limited concessions will be available for purchase.

WKU enters its sixth season under Head Coach Tyson Helton, who has posted a 40-26 record with four bowl victories in his five seasons as head coach, including a come-from-behind 38-35 overtime win against Old Dominion in the 2023 Famous Toastery Bowl to cap off an 8-5 season last year.

The Hilltoppers are scheduled to kick off the 2024 regular season at Alabama on Aug. 31. WKU’s 2024 home opener is scheduled for Sept. 7 against Eastern Kentucky.
