WKU Player of the Week: Hilltopper pole vaulter Sam Crenshaw
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – We’ve got a record breaker as the newest WKU Player of the Week: it’s track and field sophomore pole vaulter Sam Crenshaw!
Crenshaw soared to the top of the WKU books with a mark of 5.11 meters during the Winter Commodore Challenge held this past weekend in Nashville, and with the mark, he would finish fourth overall in the competition.
In just a little over a year as a Topper, Crenshaw has been re-writing records at a rapid pace, now holding the top four marks in Hilltopper indoor track and field history.
The next action the Topper team will see is in Lexington on January 9-10 at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational.
