WKU graduate announces new Chicken Salad Chick in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Western Kentucky University graduate is excited to announce that Chicken Salad Chick will soon be opening in Bowling Green, bringing a popular franchise and new job opportunities to the area.

Owner Hannah Witherspoon explained, “We actually decided to put it in Bowling Green in 2019, but we just kept hitting roadblocks.”

Despite these challenges, Witherspoon is determined to offer a unique dining experience in the community.

Witherspoon emphasizes the freshness of their products, stating, “We make it fresh every day. It’s a delicious product.”

She believes there is a significant need for Chicken Salad Chick in this market, where residents will appreciate the fresh, made-from-scratch offerings. Construction on the new location began last week, and the plan is to open in early 2025.
