WKU commencements to impact traffic Friday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Western Kentucky University will host its winter commencements on Friday.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says motorists should expect heavy traffic on Friday as WKU hosts winter commencements. The comments will take place throughout the day starting at 8 am.

Motorists can expect extra traffic near McNeill Elementary School and Creason Street.

The cabinet has placed message boards to inform motorists.

U.S. 231X/U.S. 68X University Boulevard, U.S. 68X Kentucky Street, U.S. 68 Adams Street, and U.S. 68 Russellville Road are areas motorists will need to avoid if possible.
