White Squirrel hosts Western Kentucky watch party

BOWLING GREN, Ky.- The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are not returning with a win, but they are returning to a community full of supporters. Today Hilltoppers fans packed White Squirrel Brewery in downtown Bowling Green for a March Madness watch party.

This year is the first March Madness in which sports betting is legal in Kentucky. All Kentucky teams are now out of the tournament, but sports fans are still excited to be betting this March.

Western Kentucky fan Derek Roberts says, “Draft Kings, Sports MGM, it’s been great, I mean any game that we want to get on to watch and play, we can gamble and watch and play. You can bet on any line that you want to bet. Having sports betting in Kentucky, I think it’s going to be great for the state.”

Over the last seven months, sports betting has seen much success throughout the Commonwealth.
