Weekend Christmas parades in the local area
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Several Christmas parades are bringing holiday cheer to local downtown areas this weekend.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, the following Christmas parades welcome the community to see creative parade floats and share in holiday cheer:
- Bowling Green Jaycees Christmas Parade at 9:30 a.m. starting on Fountain Square on College Street and ending on State Street at 6th.
- Park City’s annual Christmas Parade at 10 a.m. in downtown Park City.
- Scottsville-Allen County Christmas Parade at 5 p.m. starting at the Dollar General Warehouse parking lot and ending at Walgreens on South Court Street.
- Glasgow Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. from Glasgow High School through downtown Glasgow.
The Boyce Community Center Christmas Parade is also scheduled on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at 10054 Woodburn Allen Springs Road in Alvaton.
