Weapon, cash and drugs recovered during Glasgow traffic stop
GLASGOW, Ky.- Police in Glasgow found drugs, a weapon and money during a recent traffic stop.
It happened on Saturday on Cumberland Street.
Police said when they pulled over the vehicle, they noticed a handgun in the driver’s side door, 11 grams of marijuana, scales and a large amount of cash.
Police arrested and charged the driver, Austin Cox, 21, of Elk Horn, with trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
