WCSO makes arrests at checkpoint in Smiths Grove

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it made several arrests Saturday night in Smiths Grove.

Deputies say over the course of four hours total, they made three arrests, issued 19 citations and charged two people with DUIs.

According to officials, one of the DUI arrests also included a charge for second-degree wanton endangerment due to an infant being in the vehicle.

The sheriff’s office says they also served a criminal summons and charged two misdemeanor drug offenses, along with locating a child safety seat violation and serving one arrest warrant.

The names of the individuals arrested and cited have not been released at this time.
