Warren County celebrates treasurer’s last day

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County treasurer is stepping down to pursue a new opportunity after almost 17 years of service.

A going-away party was held at the Warren County Courthouse in honor of Greg Burrell, the county treasurer, who joined the staff immediately after graduating from college. He said he has been happy to work alongside some great people for so many years and is confident that he is leaving the county finances in good hands with his assistant.

Burrell’s official last day is July 31, 2025.
