Warren County sheriff seeking motorized wheelchairs

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s a struggle that deputies see often – those with mobility issues coming into the Warren County Justice Center and having a harder time getting around.

Though it is not their jurisdiction necessarily, deputies of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office work court security, and every now and then a person with mobility issues, such as those who use a walker or cane, come in that could visibly benefit from some sort of assistance like a scooter or motorized wheelchair.

Due to this, deputies mentioned to Warren County sheriff Brett Hightower that maybe they could help out in some way.

Hightower told News 40 on Tuesday that they’d be very appreciative of donations that could possibly help with those coming to court to have an easier experience in the building.
