Warren County Public Schools sees growth in latest report card data
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The statewide report card data has been released for the 2023-24 school year, and Warren County Public Schools was among the districts who saw growth this year in that data.
Among the positives, their graduation rate increased to nearly 97%, while students graduating postsecondary ready is at 89%.
Superintendent Rob Clayton says despite a workforce shortage in the past year, he’s incredibly proud of this growth and credits one key area that many don’t talk about when it comes to their success.
“We were very pleased to see the continuous progress in our multilingual population. We’re now right at 1 in 3 of our students speaking another language… and we know that students who just come to the country, who have not experienced the English language need significant time with us to demonstrate their learning,” he says.
Clayton also says staff will continue to build upon this success to continue providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive beyond their school.
