Warren County Public Schools hosting Turkey and Chicken Donation Drive
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – With Turkey Day right around the corner, making sure that everyone in need is well-fed is a top priority for many schools across south-central Kentucky.
Warren County Public Schools is leading the charge by organizing a special drive to support local families. The school system is collecting frozen chickens and turkeys to help ensure that every family in the district has the opportunity to enjoy a holiday meal.
Warren County Schools superintendent Rob Clayton emphasized the importance of this effort, acknowledging that while many celebrate the season, others are struggling financially and may not be able to provide for their families as they would like.
Warren County Public Schools is just 110 turkeys short. The district is accepting donations of frozen turkeys and chickens until Nov. 20. You can drop off your frozen turkey or chicken at Warren County Public Schools headquarters at 303 Lovers lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
