Warren County judge executive orders flags to half-staff in remembrance of firefighter

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Warren County judge executive Doug Gorman has ordered flags to half-staff until sunset Thursday evening as a mark of remembrance and respect for a Bowling Green firefighter.
The tribute is issued for all buildings and properties immediately in Warren County. The Bowling Green Fire Department announced the loss of firefighter and paramedic Stephen “Rosie” Rosebrook on Thursday.
Rosebrook collapsed after running the Bowling Green 10K on Sept. 14.
According to a release by the department, Rosebrook began his career with the Bowling Green Fire Department in 2017 and has served the department as an Engineer since 2021.
Gorman says he encourages all residents of Warren County to participate to recognize Rosebrook’s dedication and sacrifice to the community during his lifetime.
Gorman said, “Please keep the Rosebrook family and the entire Bowling Green Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
