Warren County Board of Education candidates

WARREN COUNTY, KY.- Creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to thrive is a top priority for this year’s candidates for the Warren County Board of Education. Jennifer Kash, a passionate advocate for public education, believes in its power to transform lives. “I have seen how our teachers, staff, and administrators welcome every child, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and find the best way to make that child successful,” she states.

With Warren County Public Schools being a top employer in Kentucky, the experience of educators play is crucial for student success. Janet Burks, who has spent 41 years in education as both a teacher and a school guidance counselor, emphasizes her understanding of what schools need. “The board member is the voice that fulfills the needs of students,” she explains.

Kash, who has 27 years of experience in international education, echoes this sentiment, highlighting the importance of ensuring all students achieve at their highest level. “Experience is a big factor, and we’re doing everything we can to support our students,” she notes.

Burks reminds us that students are the future, and their representation can greatly impact that future. “Free public education is the hope of America,” she says, reinforcing her commitment to improving educational quality. Both candidates are dedicated to making a difference for students, and their collective experience positions them to lead effectively.

While candidate Lloyd A. Williford was unavailable for comment, the vision shared by Kash and Burks illustrates a strong commitment to advancing education in Warren County.
