Warren Central ready for strong run in state tournament
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After winning the 4th Region championship for the 20th time in school history, Warren Central is now preparing for round one of the 2026 UK HealthCare Boys Basketball Sweet 16 against North Laurel.
During the regular season, the Dragons faced off with five other teams that are set to compete in Lexington, but their tournament opener features a matchup with a Jaguars team they’ve not seen in 23 years.
Ahead of the 12:30 p.m. CT tipoff in Rupp Arena, News 40’s Cole Scott shares how the team is motivated to capture the program’s third state title over the weekend.
