UPDATE: Wanted woman apprehended in Simpson County

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. – A wanted woman is behind bars in Simpson County.
According to the Kentucky State Police, 41-year-old Tonya Calvert was wanted on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), first-degree promoting contraband and tampering with physical evidence.
Jail records state Calvert is currently being held on a charge of failure to appear in Simpson County.
According to jail records, Calvert was arrested on Tuesday. She remains at the Simpson County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
