LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – Multiple people are facing charges after two vehicle passengers woke up in a car in the middle of U.S. 62 in Grayson County, deputies say.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office says it responded Thursday, June 6 shortly after 8 a.m. for a car in the center of the roadway.
Upon arrival, deputies say a dog barking in the car woke up two occupants in the back seat. While interviewing them, deputies say the driver, identified as 47-year-old, Richard W. May of Harold, Kentucky, returned with gasoline, stating the car ran out of gasoline in the middle of the road.
