Wanted Bowling Green man arrested, allegedly steals money from seniors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is in custody after a multi-state search.
According to a release, the Bowling Green Police Department arrested 41-year-old Matthew Wayne Hicks on multiple arrest warrants on Tuesday.
BGPD says the Gallatin Police Department in Tennessee contacted them to request assistance in locating Hicks.
GPD told officers that Hicks targets and takes advantage of senior citizens for monetary gain.
BGPD officers located Hicks at a motel on Scottsville Road and he was taken into custody.
Hicks had outstanding warrants in Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee.
BGPD says Hicks is known to be in Bowling Green frequently.
