UPDATE: Motorcyclist sustains life threatening injuries in Glasgow crash

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department (GPD) responded to a collision involving a motorcycle Sunday morning.
According to a release, officers responded to the intersection of East Main Street and Bowen Avenue to a report of a two-vehicle collision.
GPD’s preliminary investigation indicates that a motorcycle operated by Dakota Dixon Lee was traveling east in the wrong lane. A vehicle operated by Lucinda Hurt was attempting to turn left from Bowen Avenue onto East Main Street when the vehicle and motorcycle collided.
Lee was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. GPD says Lee was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Hurt sustained minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
