UPDATE: KSP locates body of missing Christian County woman

UPDATE (MARCH 26, 2026): The Kentucky State Police says the body of 39-year-old Emerald “Emmy” Raenn Forgette, of Hopkinsville, was located on Wednesday.
KSP says a resident from the 400 block of S Hopkinsville Street in Nortonville called 911, saying they located a dead woman near the back of their property.
The body was identified as Forgette.
KSP says an autopsy has been completed, and foul play is not suspected.
Forgette was last seen on Sunday, Jan. 11.
The investigation is ongoing.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is searching for a missing Christian County woman.
According to a release, KSP Post 2 is seeking information on the whereabouts of 39-year-old Emerald “Emmy” Raenn Forgette.
Forgette is a 5’5″ white female who has brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen during the early hours of Sunday, Jan. 11, in the area of Hopkinsville Road in Nortonville, according to the release.
KSP is asking residents to share social media posts, check personal property or abandoned buildings, sheds, basements, vehicles, campers and other structures that an individual may enter during cold weather.
KSP also asks residents in the area to check surveillance and trail camera footage.
