United Cajun Navy joins ongoing search for missing Missouri college student

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The United Cajun Navy has joined the search for missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain.

The 22-year-old has been missing for 11 days since being kicked out of a bar during a fraternity formal trip.

In a press conference Tuesday, the United Cajun Navy, which provides search and rescue resources after natural disasters and in missing persons cases, said they plan to deploy an airboat and a hovercraft in the coming days to help search for Strain along the Cumberland River bank.

That’s where his phone last pinged off a cell phone tower. Strain’s bank card was also found by two civilians in that area.

Police officials said investigators continue to follow up on tips, and there are no indications of foul play at this time.
