Undercover drug investigation leads to arrest of Bowling Green man
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Detectives say a Bowling Green man is in custody after selling fentanyl.
During October, the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force says it conducted controlled purchases of fentanyl from Marcus Hudson, 32, of Bowling Green.
According to detectives, more than 28 grams of fentanyl was purchased within 90 days.
On Oct. 21, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office stopped Hudson. Hudson was served with warrants and traffic offenses and taken into custody.
Deputies say a baggy was located in Hudson’s possession containing a white crystal substance. Hudson told police the substance was Epsom salt, authorities say.
Following the arrest, the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force charged Hudson with selling fentanyl.
Hudson is lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail and is charged with aggravated trafficking in a controlled substance (greater than or equal to 28 grams or more of fentanyl.)
