Tyson Foods hosts Gov. Andy Beshear at grand opening

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear visited the new Tyson Foods plant in Warren County to speak about how his plan for the state is proving correct through the investments and jobs created through the Tyson deal.

The food company makes pork products for its Wright and Jimmy Dean brands and is already up and running. The facility utilizes a great deal of automation and has plans to provide employees with a full-time chaplain and translators in both Spanish and Swahili with other plans to eventually add a Burmese translator as well.

Beshear believes this shows how competitive Kentucky is nationally.

“The largest employers in America trust us. They trust us to get massive facilities like this, 300 plus million dollars up and running faster than any other state. And they trust us to provide hardworking Kentuckians to make sure that their facilities are profitable,” Beshear said.
