Two arrested, two wanted following incident in Logan County
RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Two people have been arrested and two others are wanted in connection to an incident in Logan County earlier this week.
At around 7 p.m. Monday, Russellville police were called to a scene on South Franklin Street in the parking lot of a closed diner where, officials say, shots were fired following an altercation.
Multiple rounds struck a vehicle occupied by Kenneth Dickerson.
Dickerson then drove his car into Rebecca McCarley and injured her.
Dickerson has been arrested and is charged with first-degree assault.
During the altercation, other people and vehicles were involved, but police have not released what their involvement was at this time.
One of those individuals, Thomethia Jefferson, turned herself in and is charged with attempted murder and wanton endangerment.
According to police, a warrant has been issued for both Azora Forgy and Rebecca McCarley on charges of wanton endangerment and attempted murder.
“Two of the individuals that were involved have been arrested and then two other individuals we’re looking for. So we have charges out for Rebecca McCarley and Azora Forgy. So at this time they are wanted and we’re looking for those individuals,” said detective Nichole Bibb, Russellville Police Department.
Forgy and McCarley have not be located at this time.
