Trooper Jonathan Johnson leaves a legacy behind at Kentucky State Police
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – We’re learning more about the impact Trooper Jonathan Johnson leaves on his community.
His career at Kentucky State Police led him to serving Madisonville, Muhlenberg County and Bowling Green.
Johnson was voted Detective of the Year and also served on the Marshals Task Force and Crowd Control Team during his tenure.
We spoke with a lieutenant at KSP who shared how he thinks this husband and father impacted his community.
“His role in those made him a better trooper. He emulated his career as a trooper, his title as a trooper. He carried that through in his personal life. But then the roles he had in his personal life… friend, husband, father, that helped to make him a better trooper and a detective. So I like to believe one made him better at the other and that ultimately… he was a good guy,” Lieutenant Brandon Brooks says.
