Traffic stop in Glasgow leads to arrests of two women

GLASGOW, Ky.- A traffic stop in Glasgow resulted in the arrests of two women.

According to Glasgow police, officers conducted the stop Monday on East Washington Street.

Officers say they located suspected methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

The driver, Shambra Lee, 35, of Albany, Kentucky was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle.

Her passenger, Stacey Burnett, 34, of Monticello, Kentucky, was also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.

Both were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
