Toys for Tots reaches thousands of children through 2024 donations
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Toys for Tots is sharing how community generosity brought Christmas to thousands of children in Kentucky.
On Wednesday, the Franklin R. Sousley, Detachment # 1095 Marine Corps League and Toys for Tots volunteers announced 99,012 toys, books and stocking stuffers were donated or bought for 31,208 children.
This covered 23 Kentucky counties, including Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Metcalfe, Logan, Metcalfe, Simpson and Warren counties.
Toys for Tots thanks the volunteers, community partners and donors that made this past Christmas memorable for so many children.
