Town hall meeting to discuss current and future plans of Edmonson County Water District

A public town hall meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 9 at 5:30 p.m. for the public to learn more about the Edmonson County Water District.

According to the Edmonson County Water District’s general manager, Kevin Shaw, the town hall meeting is a joint effort between the district and fiscal court.

The Edmonson County Water District says it serves Edmonson County, part of Grayson, part of Hart and some of Butler and Warren counties.

Shaw stated the meeting is intended to allow a discussion of the current position and future plans of the water district.

Shaw stated questions can be answered about any subject, but it is intended to be “a positive meeting and talk about moving forward.”

The town hall meeting is set to be located at the Community Center in Brownsville, Kentucky.
