Tommy’s Car Wash now open, featuring unique mural of Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tommy’s Car Wash is now open in Bowling Green and they have a unique feature to their location.
The location is on the former site of Logan’s Roadhouse on Scottsville Road.
Each Tommy’s Express includes a mural representing the town they are located in.
However, for Bowling Green, staff and the artist they collaborated with, Misha Ambrosia, couldn’t pick just one place to represent the city.
That’s why staff say Ambrosia decided to paint an overall representation of Bowling Green.
“As I was looking through the photo libraries for Bowling Green, there were so many beautiful images… Fountain Square, the Corvette Museum, I had a really hard time narrowing it down to one… and as I was searching, I came across the art of Misha Ambrosia, and she has this beautiful, vibrant artwork and many images of Fountain Square, but also other places in Bowling Green,” Tommy’s Express owner Tamara Davis says.
She says they also plan to be a huge part of the community with all proceeds earned on July 21st going to the Boys & Girls Club. Staff also say to be on the lookout for more of these not-for-profit days in the future.
