Today is Lineman Appreciation Day!
BOWLING GREEN, Ky – April 11th, Warren RECC celebrated National Lineman Appreciation Day.
Linemen work with power lines 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to keep electricity flowing and the lights on. Regardless of weather conditions, they are on call as first responders to ensure safety around our community.
Eric Mckinney, supervisor at Warren RECC, who’s been a lineman for 27 years says, “We’re out in all kinds of weather conditions when most people are home sleeping and all that, we’re out working.”
Warren RECC honors more than 50 linemen across our eight county service territory.
